Eurocultura is a no-profit research, training and career counselling organization set up in 1993 with over 1700 members and 6 full time highly skilled staff. Its main objectives are to increase and improve the level of contact among different cultures, promoting mutual understanding between people and countries.

Its projects and initiatives aim to promote international mobility of people, prevent and combat racism and prejudices; encourage opportunities for meetings between different cultures, endorse the prevention and fight against social exclusion, support the environmental care, improve employability of people.

Yearly it provides Italian language and culture training to over 150 foreigners in order to help their insertion in the Italian labour market and in the Italian society. It is also accredited coordination, sending and hosting organization for European volunteers (Youth in Action, Action 2), actually working with Spanish and Cambodian partners. It has participated in a big number of European projects regarding the: 1) social inclusion of immigrants such as the project E-TIC’S (2009-4774/001-001 YT7 PSIQ7) funded by the Youth in Action programme which is about the development of E-learning modules addressed to youngster with ethnic background, specially to young women, 2) the improvement of intercultural competencies such as the projects IKULT (Intercultural training modules for SMEs in Europe to promote mobility and transfer of knowledge) and Q-Mobil (DE710/LLP-LdV/TOI/147326), 3) the support of social groups in danger of exclusion such as ADCOMP (ES/09/LLP-LdV/TOI/149042) (regarding the development of the skills of the staff working in long term care sector) and RECYCLE (2010-ES1-GRU06-20728-3) regarding the retraining for adults without basic qualification about new professions.
